Welcome Riverhills Wildcats!
How PTA Supports Your Student
PTA’s mission is to make every child’s potential a reality. Riverhills’ PTA supports critical academic needs, is an active voice on decisions that impact your child’s school experience and builds a stronger, more inclusive school community. Last year we were able to provide $1500 in teacher mini-grants to be used in the classroom, expanded our livestream equipment so all classrooms have access to the morning show, added trash cans to our playgrounds (thanks to some students who wrote a thoughtful request!), and supported student and family programs like Day of Expression, Field Day, 100th Day of School, Garden Party, and more.
Our goals this year are to continue our teaching and grade level grants, school enhancements like sprucing up the Music Portable, and we will be adding in more student and family programming and helping support volunteer efforts on campus. There is no wrong or right way to be involved – anything you can give, whether it’s time or money, will support your child’s potential. You can join as a member online through Memberhub or send in the membership form that’s attached.
Your officers this year are President-Staci Lanning, VP of Membership Jenni Williams, VP of Programs Shantel Cole, VP of Ways and Means Joanne Kelley, Secretary Alisha Werner, and Treasurer Sarah Quarles. We have many committees to be a part of and lots of help that can be completed at home! Visit our website at riverhillspta.org for more information on how you can be more involved! We are especially looking for help for the Yearbook, and it is a great job that can be done at home.
